Walk n Train

These sessions are designed to provide mental and physical stimulation, socialisation, habituation, desensitisation and to proof leadership and obedience skills in the real world. These sessions are around an hour in duration and take place in public places suitable for the training being conducted.

What is in a K9 Lifestyle ‘Walk and Train’ session?

This service is tailored to you and your dog’s requirements and can provide:

  • Quality social contact
  • Release of instinctive drives
  • Exercise
  • Leadership exercises
  • Obedience training
  • Desensitisation to situations and objects that cause overexcitement, fear or aggression
  • Socialisation and confidence building

It includes the trainer filling out the dog’s K9 Lifestyle Training Progress Log, noting activities, progress and any incident of note to assist further training.

Why will the ‘Walk and Train’ service help me?

It is proven and well known that leadership, socialisation, obedience training, exercise, and quality social contact reduces and eliminates behaviour problems such as:

Note: Before using the ‘Walk and Train’ service, dogs displaying painful physical symptoms will need to be clinically assessed by your veterinarian and dogs with significant behavioural issues will need to be assessed by us to assess suitability to and create a holistic treatment plan.
